Privacy Policy for Our Referral Service

Last updated: October 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Somewhereeast Septic ("we" or "us") gathers, uses and passes along information when you browse somewhereeast.property, phone the number listed on this site or send in a form. It is a general template, not legal advice.

What We Gather

You may give us details yourself. When you phone or fill out a form, that can include your name, phone number, email address, location and notes about your septic system, sewer line or plumbing problem.

Some data is collected automatically as you use the site. That includes your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you open and the time of your visit. Calls to the number on this site may be tracked, and some may be recorded, for quality and billing reasons.

Why We Use It

We use your information to:

• Match you with an independent plumbing or septic provider that serves your area
• Send your request details to that provider so they can reach you
• Reply to your questions and messages
• See how the website and phone lines get used
• Improve the site and the service
• Meet legal duties and guard against fraud or misuse

Who Receives It

Somewhereeast Septic is a referral service. When you ask for help, we pass your contact details and request information to one or more independent providers or marketing partners so they can get in touch. These providers are separate businesses, and each has its own privacy practices.

We may also share data with companies that help run the site and phone systems, such as hosting, analytics and call-tracking services. We may release information when the law requires it or when we need to protect our rights.

We do not sell your personal information for money. Some laws, however, treat sharing data with marketing partners as a sale or a share. Where those laws apply, you may have the right to opt out.

Cookies and Analytics

This site may use cookies and similar tools to learn how visitors use it. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Turning them off may change how some parts of the site work.

Your Choices and Rights

Depending on where you live, you may be able to ask to see, correct or delete your personal information, or to opt out of certain sharing. To make a request, email contact@somewhereeast.property. We may ask you to confirm who you are before we act on it.

Security and How Long We Keep Data

We take reasonable steps to protect your information. Still, no way of sending or storing data is completely secure. We hold on to information only as long as we need it for the purposes above, or as the law requires.

Children

This site is not meant for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Updates to This Policy

We may revise this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
