How to Raise a Complaint
Last updated: October 2026
We want every homeowner who reaches Somewhereeast Septic to get a fair and honest experience. If something went wrong, tell us. This page shows how to raise a complaint and what to expect. It is a general template, not legal advice.
What You Can Tell Us About
You can contact us about:
- Your experience when phoning or otherwise contacting Somewhereeast Septic
- How your personal information was handled
- Anything on this website that seems unclear or wrong
- The conduct of a provider we connected you with
If the Issue Is With a Provider
Providers in our network are independent businesses. They are responsible for their own quotes, prices, work and customer service. If you have a problem with work on your septic system, sewer line or plumbing, the usual first step is to raise it with the provider directly and keep a written record.
We still want to hear about it. Feedback helps keep our network honest, and providers who repeatedly fall short may be removed. Please know that Somewhereeast Septic cannot settle contract disputes, issue refunds for a provider's work or make decisions for a provider.
Sending Your Complaint
Email contact@somewhereeast.property and include:
- Your name and how to reach you
- The date you contacted us or the provider
- The phone number you called or the form you used, if you remember
- The provider's name, if you know it
- A clear account of what happened and what outcome you would like
After You Write
We will confirm receipt of your complaint by email, usually within a few business days. We will look into what happened, which may include contacting the provider. Then we will reply with what we found and any steps we are taking.
If You Are Still Unhappy
If our reply does not satisfy you, answer it and ask us to look again. You may also reach out to your state's consumer protection office or attorney general, or to your local Better Business Bureau. For problems with licensed plumbing or septic contractors, your state licensing board or local health department may also be able to help.
